Join master weaver Joy Smith in the stimulating environment of the ATW for an intensive day developing the basic skills required to produce simple tapestries on a small scale. Participants will learn how to weave simple shapes and lines and explore colour, pattern and texture.

Join master weaver Joy Smith in the stimulating environment of the ATW for an intensive day developing the basic skills required to produce simple tapestries on a small scale. Participants will learn how to weave simple shapes and lines and explore colour, pattern and texture. This is a beginners class is for people with no experience in tapestry and for those who wish to refresh basic skills. All materials are provided. 

Saturday June 4, 10am to 4pm

Venue: Australian Tapestry Workshop, 262-266 Park Street, South Melbourne
Tuition and materials: $230. All materials provided including wooden frame loom, clamp, warp, bobbin and 6 yarn cones participants can keep.

**Please note: Full payment is required at the time of booking, all payments though our online booking system. Refunds on workshop bookings are not available, however if you can’t attend the class you are more than welcome to send someone in your place! We require a miniumum of 6 people to run this class, if we don't reach minimum numbers we will reschedule the class.
