Studio Brieditis & Evans: Rags to Riches

Join Swedish artists/designers Katarina Brieditis & Katarina Evans for an afternoon exploring circular fashion through rug making. Begin the afternoon with a tour of the current exhibition On-Going and listen to Studio Brieditis & Evans as they talk about their practice and materials.  

Bring along your own old t-shirts to learn the art of textile braiding and discover the endless possibilities of designing patterns with multi coloured threads. You will discover techniques to create a sturdy rug or object to brighten up your home. Not only will you walk away with a deeper sense of circular fashion, but you will never throw away a t-shirt again!  

DATE: Saturday 12 August, 1pm - 4pm at the Australian Tapestry Workshop.
COST: Adult $95, Friend $85, Concession $75
MATERIALS: All materials supplied.
SKILL LEVEL: No experience necessary. Minimum age is 16 years.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
(1) All bookings are Non-Refundable
(2) All Bookings are Transferable to a second party in the event that the customer is unable to attend the workshop; such transfers must be requested 24 hours prior to the Workshop for desired transfers to be eligible.
(3) If you cannot attend the workshop, you may transfer to another class within 12 months, but 2 weeks notice must be given for this transfer, and only one transfer may occur.
(4) In the rare event that the ATW is required to cancel a workshop the customer will receive either a full refund or the opportunity to transfer said booking to another workshop of even value within 12 months of said cancellation.
(5) Cancellations may be advised by ATW at any time prior to the workshop.
(6) ATW reserves the right to use any images taken at the workshops for Social Media & Advertising, if you wish for images not to be shared please let us know at your workshop. 
(7) In the event that you do not agree with the above Terms & Conditions you may request a full refund within 48 hours of even date of receipt of this booking confirmation.
