Join master weaver Tim Gresham in the stimulating environment of the ATW for an intensive 2 days developing the basic skills required to produce simple tapestries on a small scale using the weft faced French Gobelin technique. 

Participants will learn how to warp a loom, weave simple shapes and lines and explore colour, pattern and texture. In these class you will use our in house dyed wool (range of 370 colours) and watch our weavers working on major commissions. 

Date: Thursday 30 & Friday 31 May 2019, 10am to 4pm
Venue: Australian Tapestry Workshop
Cost: $370 (includes all materials: loom, clamp, bobbin, 10 cones of yarn, warp, needles, notes)
